The Hayward Air Rally returned to Bend, OR this year. After the rally, I did my somewhat traditional Pacific Coast tour up to Friday Harbor, then stopped in Salem to visit a friend on the way home.

The Falcon 9 Starlink 4-31 lifted off 1 minute after sunset. However, the Sun was still above the horizon as viewed from 6500'. The Sun appears flattened by atmospheric refraction, but also shows distortions from the rocket's shockwaves.
This photo earned me another Space Editor's Choice in the Aviation Week photo contest.
